Healthe SPACE™ | Far-UVC Sanitizing Downlight

The Healthe SPACE™ downlight provides both sanitizing far-UVC light (222nm) and general illumination. The downlight is designed to easily retrofit 6" recessed cans with E26 (medium) base sockets. The built-in far-UVC light delivers 222 nm disinfection that inactivates over 90% of contaminants. Early studies have shown that far-UVC light does not penetrate the top layer of the skin or tear layers of the eye.

  • Select from three sanitization modes that work with an integral PIR motion sensor, including Far-UVC on for 30 minutes every hour, or Far-UVC only on in unoccupied spaces
  • Integrated general illumination features a boost at 435nm to help activate the antimicrobial properties of TiO₂ surface coatings and cleaners
  • Retrofit any 6" conventional recessed can fixture to a sanitization downlight
  • Supports multiple input voltage, 120V-277V, with a power consumption of 20W

Healthe SPACE™ Downlight Installation

To install, simply unscrew the existing lamp from your 6” recessed can downlight, remove existing trim (if applicable), screw in the Healthé® Space downlight, push it in place and flip the switch to start sanitizing.

Healthe SPACE™ Downlight Operating Modes

The Healthe SPACE™ downlight offers a variety of operating modes to extend the far-UVC lamp life and ensure that disinfection operates as desired. The operation modes include:

Mode A:

  • Far-UVC:ON (will cycle, total ON time 42min/hr); General Illumination: ON
  • Far-UVC:OFF when motion detected ON 5min after last motion detected for 86 min (will cycle, total ON time 60min of the 86min); General Illumination: ON
  • Far-UVC:ON (will cycle, total ON time 42min/hr); General Illumination: OFF
  • OFF when motion detected ON 5min after last motion detected for 86 min (will cycle, total ON time 60min of the 86min); General Illumination: OFF

Mode B (Far-UVC ON for limited time when motion detected):

  • ON when motion detected (will cycle, total ON time 30min/hr) ON 5min after last motion detected for 86 min (will cycle, total ON time 60min of the 86min); General Illumination: ON when motion detected OFF 5 minutes after last motion detected
  • ON when motion detected (will cycle, total ON time 12min/hr) ON 5min after last motion detected for 86 min (will cycle, total ON time 60min of the 86min); General Illumination: ON when motion detected OFF 5 minutes after last motion detected
  • ON when motion detected (will cycle, total ON time 18min/hr) ON 5min after last motion detected for 86 min (will cycle, total ON time 60min of the 86min); General Illumination: ON when motion detected OFF 5 minutes after last motion detected
  • ON when motion detected (will cycle, total ON time 24min/hr) ON 5min after last motion detected for 86 min (will cycle, total ON time 60min of the 86min); General Illumination: ON when motion detected OFF 5 minutes after last motion detected

Mode C (Far-UVC always OFF when motion detected):

  • OFF when motion detected ON 5min after last motion detected for 86 min (will cycle, total ON time 60min of the 86min); General Illumination: ON when motion detected OFF 5 minutes after last motion detected

Light Output Modes:

  • 100% brightness (600 lumens)
  • 75% brightness (450 lumens)
  • 50% brightness (300 lumens)
  • 25% brightness (150 lumens)

*The Far-UVC cycles 70 seconds ON and 30seconds OFF during all ON operations. Any specific time indicated denotes the total accumulated time of ON operations before emitter shuts off.
