Germicidal UVC light is an effective tool for eliminating pathogens on surfaces, but how do you ensure that your staff and visitors aren't exposed to harmful amounts of UVC energy? These Personal Exposure dosimeter stickers can be placed on name bags, tags, or other surfaces to monitor any exposure to UVC energy. The color on the sticker changes as it is exposed to UVC energy, and the word "STOP" displays when the sticker has received enough energy to reach the recommended daily Threshold Limit Value® of UVC energy (this happens at a dose of 6mJ/cm²). The daily Threshold Limit Value (TLV) is set by the American Conference of Government Industrial Hygienists, ACGIH (source: Documentation of the Threshold Limit Values and Biological Exposure Indices, 8th Edition, Copyright 2020).

These Personal Exposure UVC stickers are a great tool for employees, cleaning staff, UVC fixture operators, or visitors where UVC fixtures are in use.

The technology consists of a photo-chromatic ink that changes color when it is stimulated by certain UVC radiation (253.7 nanometers). The stickers are not an accurate measurement for 222nm Far-UVC, pulsed xenon UVC, or LED UVC light sources.
